One half of the Gromgard Twins, Gerda Gromgard is a hardy warrior not above intimidation to meet her goals. She sees the dwarves as the "only real men around these parts" and her love of a good drink, gambling and fighting has naturally drawn her to the dwarf lands of Golden Hills.
She's the twin sister of Lord Grenville Gromgard and older sister of the young Lord Gromgard.
She looks down on the young Lord and takes pleasure in making his life harder. She believes her brother, Grenville, to be a weaselly individual and hardly fit to be called a man - let alone be the heir to the Gromgard legacy. Like her brother, Gerda is growing impatient with her father and is taking action to seize his power for herself.
Overlord: Dark Legend[]
During the events of Overlord: Dark Legend, she planned to use the dwarves to seize control of the kingdom of Greenvale, much like her brother Lord Grenville, who allied himself with the elves. However, her plans were foiled when Lord Gromgard killed the Dwarf King Widget, making the murder look like it was perpetrated by the elves, whilst simultaneously framing the dwarves for the death of Elf King Erasmus. As a result, Grenville and Gerda seized control of their respective allies and waged war against each other until both, exhausted from the battles, returned home in an attempt to claim their inheritance, only to be captured and subjugated by their younger brother, who set them to work restoring Castle Gromgard to it's former glory.
